The OMP60M is a modular version of the OMP60. The probe module assembly, adaptors and extensions need to be purchased separately.
OMP60M modular unit, enabling probe access for inspection or part setting which might otherwise be inaccessible with a standard OMP60 probe. Retains compatibility with existing Renishaw optical receivers enabling users to upgrade existing installations. When combined with the very latest modulated transmission interface these systems offer exceptional resistance to light interference. The OMP60M allows the fitment of adaptors, extensions and the LP2 probe. Probe switch-on / switch-off methods are user configurable. The factory-default setting of optical on / optical off can be modified to optical on / timer off (timeout) if required.

About LP2 Probes
Robust, compact probes for workpiece inspection and tool setting on CNC lathes. LP2 probes can be used in optical, inductive and hard-wired systems. Optical transmission is best suited to field retrofitting and optional fitment. The optical transmission method requires an LTO optical transmission unit. The LTO range provides a variety of solutions to suit different machine sizes, but each unit is functionally similar. They enable the probe to be turned on and off via an M-code, or turned on via an M-code and turned off via an internal timer.
