The range comprises three PH10 models, each of which can carry a range of probes and extensions and can be orientated in 720 repeatable positions, giving access to the most difficult-to-reach workpiece features.
All three variants of the new PH10 heads are now supplied with a revised repeatability specification, down from 0.5 µm (2?) to just 0.4 µm (2?) (specified at a distance of 62 mm), giving users improved positioning at the stylus tip. The new specification heads are physically differentiated by a new ‘aqua blast’ finish which gives a modern, matt black appearance.
The PH10M can carry long extension bars and complex probes such as SP25M or TP7M. The highly repeatable autojoint allows rapid probe or extension bar changing without the need for re-qualification.

PHC10-3 head controller receives instructions from the CMM control. The PHC10-3 controls all head functions and reports system status to the CMM:
Drives PH10 (PH10T, PH10M or PH10MQ) to position - sent either from the HCU1 or CMM.
Checks and reports position
Flags up errors, e.g. failure to reach position, obstruction before or after locking etc.
The PHC10-3 does not process any of the probe sensor signals. These are railed clean through the heads axes and controller to the probe interface.

The TP20 is a compact 5-way, or 6-way, kinematic touch-trigger probe system. The two-piece design, comprising probe body and detachable stylus module(s), connected using a highly repeatable magnetic kinematic coupling. This provides the facility to change stylus configurations either manually or automatically without the need for requalification of the stylus tips, thereby giving significant time savings in inspection routines.
Modules offering a range of trigger forces allow the probe performance to be best matched to the measurement task. A set of probe extensions is also available, as is a 6-way module. The stylus mounting thread accepts styli from the Renishaw M2 range.
The TP20 system is easily retrofitted and is compatible with existing touch trigger probe interfaces, extensions and adaptors.
PH10T or PH10MQ can be shipped for the same price. PHC10-3 supports both RS 232 and USB communication.
