VAST XXT TL3 with Adapter for Rotatable Elements
The assembly of the stylus system is mechanically connected to the measuring sensor via the adapter plate. A built-in carbon fiber extension has a receiver for rotatable elements. Angle or star elements can be aligned in special angular positions.

The compact and lightweight design of the scanning probes on the articulating system requires different probe modules. With three modules, ZEISS VAST XXT covers the typical stylus length range for this probe design.
This sensor accepts lateral styli up to 65 millimeters It is also suitable for permanent installation.
ZEISS Adapter Plates
Specifically engineered for the ZEISS VAST XXT sensor. When used with the ZEISS RDS sensor, the ZEISS VAST XXT rotates to a feature's angle and increases the operational efficiencies and reliability of the measurements. This method also offers scanning functionality and accounts for form deviations of the measured elements. The refined contact points of the XXT adapter plate ensures system stability a high degree of accuracy at the same time. Gold-plated contact points improve the electrical conductivity, which ensures a more robust data transmission. Since 2022, the VAST XXT adapter plates have been equipped with a new chip, which enables similar benefits as the VAST measuring sensor regarding increase performance and integrated safety features.
Adapter Plate VAST XXT TL3
The adapter plate provides an interchangeable interface between the sensor and a stylus system. Integrated M3 titanium inserts or CFX extensions provide connection points add styli to suite any measurement application.
The adapter plate then allows a manual or automatic stylus systems change when using a Multi Sensor Rack (MSR).
